On October 30, the Governor’s office announced the roll-out of a new digital ID. While our office is looking forward to working with the Governor on this new development, for this election, a digit ID will not be an acceptable form of identification at a Voter Service and Polling Center. Polls are open for the 2019 Coordinated Election from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Election Day.

Mail ballots must be received by the county clerk and recorder no later than 7:00 PM on Election Day. Voters are encouraged to drop off ballots at designated drop off sites, drop-boxes, or mail their ballots in time to be received by the county clerk before the polls close. Postmarks do not count; ballots must be in the hands of the county clerk by 7:00 P.M. on Election Day in order to be counted.
Deadline to vote in person
The deadline to vote in person is 7:00 P.M. on Election Day, November 5th, 2019. If you want to vote in person at a VSPC, you can find your location by visiting www.GoVoteColorado.com.

Accessible voting
Voters with a disability can now vote an electronic ballot independently and privately from their own home or other location. Military and overseas voters may access their ballot online by visiting the following website myballot.sos.colorado.gov
Statewide ballot
If you are a voter who is not able to vote in your home county for an election, you may now vote at another county in Colorado. If you are voting in-person at another county in Colorado, you will receive a “Statewide Ballot.” This ballot contains only the candidates or issues that all Coloradans are eligible to vote on. The ballot does not contain candidates or issues that you would otherwise be eligible to vote on in your home county.
General info for 2019 Coordinated Election
What is a Coordinated Election?
A coordinated election is one that the county clerk and recorder conducts on behalf of two or more political subdivisions that are hosting an election on the same day in November. Specifically, for a coordinated election to take place, the election must:
- Have more than one political subdivision holding an election (state, county, municipality, school district, or special district);
- Take place on the same day in November; and
- Have eligible voters who live in overlapping subdivision boundaries.
Generally, the November odd-year election is referred to as the coordinated election. And, like all elections in Colorado, coordinated elections are conducted by mail ballot.
How do I receive my ballot?
Every voter in Colorado receives a mail ballot. Your mail ballot will be sent to the mailing address you provided when you registered to vote. To check what address you provided when registering to vote, please visit www.GoVotecolorado.com.
How do I make sure my mail ballot will be counted?
Every valid mail ballot is counted. To be sure your ballot is valid, follow the instructions on the mail ballot envelope. This includes making sure your ballot is signed when it is returned.
What should I do if I do not receive my mail ballot or make a mistake, damage, or lose my mail ballot?
You may request a replacement mail ballot from your county clerk. You may also vote in-person at a voter service and polling center.

Military and overseas voters
Who is covered under the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens and Absentee Voting Act ("UOCAVA")?
Colorado citizens living outside the United States and all active military personnel absent from Colorado are eligible to register and vote by mail as UOCAVA voters. UOCAVA provisions also cover the spouses, civil union partners, and voting dependents of active military personnel absent from Colorado.
How can I access my ballot?
Military and overseas voters can request to have their ballots be sent by fax, email, or by downloading a ballot electronically. Military and overseas electors may access their ballot electronically online at myballot.sos.colorado.gov and follow the step-by-step instructions.
How do I submit my completed ballot?
As a Military and Overseas Voter, you have a few options for submitting your ballot. You can submit your ballot electronically, by mail, or by fax. If submitting your ballot electronically, once you vote your ballot, you must print the completed ballot and scan it as a pdf. Visit https://ballotreturn.sos.colorado.gov/form/submit to securely return your completed ballot. You may also return your ballot by fax.
What is the deadline for returning completed ballots?
All military or overseas voters must vote and send their ballots back by 7:00 PM Mountain Time on Election Day. The county elections office must receive mailed ballots no later than the close of business on the 8th day after Election Day. If you are returning your ballot electronically, then your county clerk must receive it no later than 7:00 PM Mountain Time on Election Day.

Accessible Voting
Electronic ballot access for voters with disabilities
Voters with a disability can now vote an electronic ballot independently and privately from their own home or other location.
How do I access my electronic ballot?
To access your electronic ballot or to view a sample ballot, go to myballot.sos.colorado.gov. Once on the website you will be guided through a step by step process to vote and return your ballot.
How do I vote my electronic ballot?
The electronic ballot access website, myballot.sos.colorado.gov., will guide you through the process of voting your ballot. Once you have voted your ballot, you must print the completed ballot, print the accessible ballot application provided, and then sign the accessible ballot application. All of these materials must be returned together. You may return your printed ballot materials in person to either a county drop-box or voter service and polling center or through the mail. Your ballot and application must be received no later than 7:00 PM on election day.
How do I make sure my registration is up to date?
To access your electronic ballot, your voter registration information must be up to date. Contact your county clerk or visit www.GoVoteColorado.com to verify your information if you have difficulty accessing your electronic ballot.
Voting in person
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires VSPCs to meet minimum thresholds of compliance in order to serve the needs of every voter across the country and in Colorado.
