| Description of Subjects/Issues |
First, the rule change addresses the Division’s need to update the Codes and Standards adopted by the Division and utilized in various programs to newer, more updated editions. Second, this rule change moves the general requirements for inspector certification related to third-party inspectors out of 4.2.2 and into section 4.1 for third-party inspectors, which should aid in resolving some of the confusion created when these requirements were located in section 4.2. Third, this rule change adds language to clarify the timeline for the renewal periods related to inspector certifications and adds a fee for late renewal of these certifications. Fourth, this rule change allows for general clean-up of any grammatical and formatting errors. |
