| Statutory Authority |
C.R.S. § 8-1-107(2) provides the Director of the Division of Labor Standards and Statistics with the authority to adopt rules and regulations regarding investigations of employers for potential violations of Colorado wage and hour law. C.R.S. § 8-2-130(5)(e) requires the Department of Labor and Employment to adopt rules and regulations regarding procedures for handling complaints against employers for potential violations of the Colorado Chance to Compete Act. |
| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The purpose of these Colorado Chance to Compete Act Rules is to
implement the Division of Labor Standards and Statistics’s authority to conduct
investigations of potential violations of the Act. |
