Purpose
Two recall elections: one for senate district 11 in El Paso County and one for senate district 3 in Pueblo County, are set for September 10, 2013. The Secretary of State is developing guidance for both affected counties, which may include emergency rules.
Our office values your feedback and we want to hear your thoughts and questions concerning the recall elections. Information about how to testify at the meeting and provide written comments is provided below.
Opportunity to comment, live broadcast of meeting and email moderator
Anyone may sign-in at the hearing to comment or ask questions. To ensure that the meeting is prompt and efficient, oral testimony may be time-limited.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, you may listen to the live broadcast from the Aspen Conference Room online. A member of the Elections Division will moderate emails during the hearing so you may also submit questions or comments in real time to State.ElectionDivision@coloradosos.gov and the panel will try to answer.
In addition, you may email comments to SoS.Rulemaking@coloradosos.gov by 3:00 PM on Friday, August 16, 2013.
