| Description of Subjects/Issues |
The purpose of the proposed changes to Rule 1.4 (Applications and Licensing) are to implement Colorado House Bill 19-1086, regarding continuing education requirements for licensees. Additionally, the purpose of the proposed changes to the Colorado Plumbing Code are as a result of the changes made to the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and International Residential Code (IRC). |
| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The purpose of the proposed revisions to Rule 1.4 (Applications and Licensing) are to implement Colorado House Bill 19-1086, regarding continuing education requirements for licensees; the proposed revisions to the Colorado Plumbing Code are a result of the changes made to the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and International Residential Code (IRC)); and the general rule revisions throughout the Plumbing Rules are proposed in compliance with section 24-4-103.3, C.R.S., which mandates a regularly scheduled review of the rules to assess the continuing need, appropriateness, and cost-effectiveness of its rules to determine if they should be continued in their current form, modified, or repealed. |
