The title as designated and fixed by the Board is as follows:
A change to the Colorado Revised Statutes requiring law enforcement to notify the federal department of homeland security if a person’s lawful presence cannot be determined, and, in connection therewith, if law enforcement cannot determine that a person is lawfully present in the United States, requiring law enforcement to notify the department of homeland security when a person is charged with a violent crime or has a prior felony conviction, and when a person is about to be released from confinement and has a prior felony conviction, and repealing the prohibition on a probation department employee providing personal information about an individual to federal immigration authorities.
