2021 Biennial School Election Schedule

Coordinated election: Tuesday, November 2, 2021

This calendar applies to (refer to Campaign Finance Rule 17) the following committees who participate in the 2021 Biennial School Board Election:

County school board candidates who attempt access to or appear on the 2021 Biennial School Board Election Ballot.
County candidate committees whose candidate attempts access to or appears on the 2021 Biennial School Board Election Ballot.
State and County Political Parties (PP)
State and County Political Committees (PC)
State and County Small Donor Committees (SDC)
State and County Independent Expenditure Committees (IEC)
State and County 527 Political Organizations (527 PO)

Supplemental reports

The following supplemental reports may be required dependent on your political activity:

Regular Biennial School Electioneering Communication (if the communication mentions school board candidates) time period starts 60 days (September 3, 2021) before the Biennial School Election.
24 Hour Notice of Major Contributor (MC) report period starts 30 days before the Election and concludes the day before the election. Report is due within 24 hours of receiving a Major Contribution. Applies to candidate committees whose office appears on the Biennial School Board Election ballot. It also applies to Issue Committees and Political Parties even if they are not participating in the election.
48 Hour Notice of Independent Expenditure (IE) report period starts 30 days before the Election and concludes the day before the election. Report is due within 48 hours of spending. Only applies to IECs.

September 7, 2021* Biweekly report	July 29, 2021 - September 1, 2021. Electioneering Communication (EC) activity may be included on report.
September 20, 2021 Biweekly report	September 2, 2021 - September 15, 2021 Electioneering Communication (EC) activity may be included on report.
October 3, 2021	Starts the 30 day period before the Biennial School Board Election for 24 Hour MC reports & 48 Hour IE reports and concludes on November 1, 2021.
October 5, 2021* Biweekly report	September 16, 2021 - September 29, 2021 Electioneering Communication (EC) activity may be included on report.
October 18, 2021 Biweekly report	September 30, 2021 - October 13, 2021 Electioneering Communication (EC) activity may be included on report.
November 1, 2021 Biweekly report	October 14, 2021 - October 27, 2021 Electioneering Communication (EC) activity may be included on report.
November 2, 2021	Coordinated Election / Biennial School Board Election
December 2, 2021	30th day after the Biennial School Election Report, covers October 28, 2021 - November 30, 2021. Electioneering Communication (EC) activity may be included on report.
