Pursuant to section 24-4-103 (2), Colorado Revised Statutes, the Colorado Secretary of State hereby announces the informal review of draft UCC Filing-Office Rules, 8 CCR 1505-7, in advance of contemplated rule-making. This informal review period will commence on July 1, 2009, and will conclude on August 17, 2009. All interested persons will be afforded the opportunity to submit comments and revisions to the draft rules regarding Articles 9, 9.5, and 9.7 of Title 4 and Part 3 of Article 21 of Title 24 of the Colorado Revised Statutes.

This informal review process has been initiated in advance of formal permanent rule-making in order to facilitate public input and participation in developing the rules that are necessary to administer and implement Articles 9, 9.5, and 9.7 of Title 4 and Part 3 of Article 21 of Title 24 of the Colorado Revised Statutes. Any comments and revisions may be submitted by joining the Colorado Secretary of State’s UCC Filing-Office Rules Review group in Google Groups, or by e-mailing such comments and revisions to ucccomment@sos.state.co.us.
