Description of Subjects/Issues |
The proposed rules will update the rules consistent with new legislation, provide clarifying language on multiple topics, update various processes and procedures, and do technical revisions/cleanup. This includes, but is not limited to:
Adding language regarding the development of policies and procedures for state complaints
Updating language regarding significant changes in placement
Updating the definition of a public agency
Providing a new definitions and references to abbreviated school day policies per HB 24-1063
Updating the process for applications for new or reorganized administrative units
Clarifying the requirements for paraprofessionals working with students with IEPs that are similar to provisions recently added to the Rules for the Operation, Maintenance, and Inspection of School Transportation Vehicles (1 CCR 301-26) |
