| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The Department adopted new Rule 20.5.2(c)(12) to the Colorado Department of State Elections Rules on a temporary basis. The amendment is intended to preserve public safety and public welfare, and is imperatively necessary, and will ensure uniform and proper administration of Colorado’s elections, improve elections administration in Colorado, and increase the transparency and security of the election process. New Rule 20.5.2(c)(12) is effective immediately. Please see the attached Notice of Temporary Adoption, which includes a Statement of Basis and Purpose and Statement of Justification. |
