| Description of Subjects/Issues |
The purpose of these rules is to adopt and enforce regulations governing the reasonable
and adequate standards of safety for the operation, maintenance, and inspection of
school transportation vehicles that promote the welfare of the students and afford
reasonable protection to the public. These rules are designed to align with federal laws
and standards, state laws, reflect current industry practices, and incorporate
recommendations from school districts, charter schools, and service provider
transportation professionals. |
