Description of Subjects/Issues |
The specific purpose of this rulemaking is to modify the administrative rules regarding definitions, Commission-approved forms, continuing education requirements, and requirements regarding the use and handling of trust or escrow accounts, security deposits, and rental proceeds. This rulemaking also modifies existing requirements regarding the disclosure of confidential information, the accuracy of electronic media and advertising, sign crossing, and property access. Furthermore, this rulemaking clarifies the filing and service requirements related to the Commission’s review of initial decisions and exceptions. This rulemaking also establishes additional requirements for implementation of a data security policy, use of mark-ups, and the use of non-Commission approved Contracts to Buy and Sell. Finally, a specific purpose of this rulemaking is to comply with H.R. 7939, which allows for license portability for members of the military and their spouses. The proposed new rule establishes requirements to practice under the federal law in Colorado. |
