| Description of Subjects/Issues |
The Facility Schools Board has proposed amendments to its current rules -- 1 CCR 304-1 Rules for the Administration of the Facility Schools Act. The proposed amendments address three areas:
-Align rule language with new statutory language, including updates to definitions/terminology and references to the board’s authority to establish accountability and accreditation measures for facility schools as well as the authorization of specialized day schools.
-Remove detail related to facility schools funding, as this is addressed in the State Board of Education’s Rules for Administration of the School Finance Act.
-Update application requirements and review process to reflect current practice. |
| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
