Statutory Authority The statutory basis for 1 CCR 210-1 is found in section 44-33-101, et seq, C.R.S.
Description of Subjects/Issues The Gambling Payment Intercept Act went into effect as of July 1, 2008. As a result of that legislation Rule 1 CCR 210-1 Gambling Payment Intercept was adopted by the Executive Director of the Department of Revenue to govern the collection of certain outstanding debt from cash winnings from limited gaming and from pari-mutuel wagering. The Division of Gaming is responsible for administering this Rule. During the 2022 legislative session, House Bill 2022-1412 added sports betting operators and internet sports betting operators to the Gambling Payment Intercept Act. As a result of HB2022-1412 the Division of Gaming is now proposing amendments to Rule 1 CCR 210-1 in order to include sports betting operators and internet sports betting operators.
