Description of Subjects/Issues |
The Colorado Podiatry Board will hold a Rulemaking Hearing on November 3, 2023, at 12:00 P.M. to receive testimony before the Board determines whether to repeal Rules 1.20 and 1.21 on a permanent basis to implement Colorado Senate Bills 23-188 and 23-265, and to consider adopting the proposed changes to Rule 1.11 to implement Colorado Senate Bill 23-083. |
Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The purpose of this Permanent Rulemaking Hearing was to allow stakeholders a final opportunity to testify before the Board determined whether to repeal on a permanent basis Rule 1.20 - PROVISION OF REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH CARE IN COLORADO to implement Colorado Senate Bill 23-188 (Concerning Protections for Accessing Reproductive Health Care) and Rule 1.21 - PROTECTING COLORADO’S WORKFORCE AND EXPANDING LICENSING OPPORTUNITIES to implement Colorado Senate Bill 23-265 (Concerning a Prohibition on a Regulator Imposing Discipline Against a Person Based on Certain Activities Involving Marijuana) and to consider adopting the proposed changes to Rule 1.11 - SUPERVISION OF COLLABORATIVE AGREEMENTS AND PRACTICE BY PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS (PAs) to implement Colorado Senate Bill 23-083 (Concerning an Expansion of a Physician Assistant’s Ability to Practice, and, in Connection Therewith, Changing the Relationship Between a Physician Assistant and a Physician or Podiatrist from Supervision to Collaboration). |
