| Description of Subjects/Issues |
The State Highway Access Category Assignment Schedule (Schedule) is required by the Access Code Rules, 2 CCR 601-1 and assigns classifications to state highway segments. The Transportation Commission proposes to update the Schedule based on the approximately 40 changes in segment ownership or classification that have occurred in the 10 years since the last rule update. |
| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The purpose of the rule is to assign access categories to state highways. The purpose of this update is to reflect current ownership of state highway segments and adjust categories for certain highway segments in collaboration with local governments. |
