| Description of Subjects/Issues |
The purpose of this Permanent Rulemaking Hearing is for the Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC) to consider adopting the Early Intervention Colorado Program rules on a permanent basis. These rules were originally adopted as emergency rules (SOS Tracking No. 2022-00807) on December 16, 2022. The proposed changes to these rules were to transfer the rules from the Colorado Department of Human Services to CDEC, provide a general cleanup, update the statutory and rule references, and make changes to the eligibility requirements. |
| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The purpose of the Executive Director adopting the permanent rules for the Early Intervention Colorado Program was to transfer the rules from the Colorado Department of Human Services to the Colorado Department of Early Childhood, provide clarity and general cleanup, update statutory and rule references, and make changes to the eligibility requirements. |
