Sections 25-1.5-101(1)(k), 25-1.5-101(1)(l), 25-11-103, 25-11-104, and 25-1-108, C.R.S. |
Description of Subjects/Issues |
The revisions are primarily intended to conform the regulations to the 2020 federal rule changes of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) in 10 CFR Part 36 and 10 CFR Part 39. Minor technical changes to this rule are also proposed. The proposed changes will eliminate a reference that specifies use of personnel dosimetry systems that meet certain specifications for processing. This will provide flexibility to licensees by allowing use of newer dosimetry systems that do not require offsite processing and instead can be read directly by a licensing facility. |
