| Description of Subjects/Issues |
The Department will begin licensing Freestanding Emergency Departments and Chapter Behavioral Health Entities on July 1, 2021 per HB19-1010 and HB19-1237 respectively. Thus, revisions to Chapter 2, General Licensure Standards are introduced to integrate conforming amendments resulting from the creation of both Chapter 13, Freestanding Emergency Departments, and Chapter 3, Behavioral Health Entities, into Chapter 2, General Licensure Standards. The requested changes are therefore contingent upon the adoption of Chapters 3 and 13. Smaller, non-substantive changed are also included in these revisions. |
| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
