Description of Subjects/Issues |
: The purpose of this rule is to establish criteria for the Permanent Disposal of a license plate or product. |
Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The Proposed Rule was promulgated pursuant to the State Licensing Authority of the Colorado Department of Revenue, Division’s promulgation of its rules and regulations as authorized by § 24-2-103, C.R.S., of the Administrative Procedures Act. 1 CCR 204-10, Rule 41, Permanent Disposal of a License Plate or Product was reviewed as part of the Division’s 2020 Regulatory Agenda. Substantive amendments to the rule were completed, in addition to bringing the rule into compliance with current Department rule writing and styling standards by removing language that duplicates Colorado Revised Statutes, reorganizing the rule to facilitate flow and ease of reading, and/or updating language to provide clarification. |
