| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
This filing amends the version of W.C.R.P. 18-7(H) adopted September 24, 2019. The adopted version of the rule requires that interpreters provided for medical appointments be certified. The emergency rule removes this requirement. After the prior version was adopted, numerous stakeholders raised concerns about having an adequate number of certified interpreters in time to comply with the rule. The Division of Workers' Compensation concluded additional time was required for interpreters to become certified. |
