Minor changes and clarification of existing language including deleting some definitions and adding others. Specifying locations where customers can access adopted codes. Changing the timing and relationship of conveyance testing and inspection to more them adjacent to each other. Identifying which personnel can access a hoistway when not performing licensed duties that can only be performed by mechanics and inspectors. Clarifying duties for the conveyance helper. Increasing the frequency of the checks of elevator two way communication (phone) from annual to monthly. Re-writing enforcement procedures to more align them with statutory requirements. |
