| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The purpose of the Combative Sports Rules are to carry out the legislative mandate for the Commission to adopt rules as set forth in section 12-10-106, C.R.S. The emergency rules were adopted by the Commission to revise some of the current rules consistent with its rulemaking authority in section 12-10-106, C.R.S., as the rules relate to safety. The Commission found that the emergency adoption of rule changes and added rules was imperatively necessary for the preservation of public health, safety, or welfare and compliance with the requirements of section 24-4-103(3), C.R.S., would be contrary to the public interest. The amended and new rules include the following: 1.1, 1.2, 1.7, 1.8, 2.5, 2.9, 2.10, 2.11, 2.12, 2.13, 2.14, 2.15, 2.16, 2.17, 2.18, 2.19, 3.3, 3.4, 5.1, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 6.5, 6.6, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4, 7.5, 7.6, 7.7, 7.8, 8.6, 8.7, 8.8, 8.9, 8.10, 8.11, 8.12, 8.13, 8.14, 11.3, 13.2, 13.5, 13.7, 13.8, 13.9, 14.1, 14.15, 14.16, and 14.17. |
