| Description of Subjects/Issues |
DVR is updating rule to reflect recommended changes regarding the application of the Financial Need Analysis used to determine client contributions toward the cost of their vocational rehabilitation services. The procedure for filing a grievance of discrimination on the basis of disability is being added.
Further changes are proposed to require DVR to maintain policies requiring background checks for vendors providing direct services or accessing client information. This change is intended to take reasonable steps to minimize risk of abuse or exploitation of individuals with disabilities while participating in the vocational rehabilitation program.
Lastly, minor technical clean-up is incorporated. |
