Description of Subjects/Issues |
Rule XXVI. Application of Silver Diamine Fluoride by Dental Hygienists, This rule sets forth and clarifies that a hygienists, once completed a post-secondary course or continuing education, a dental hygienist may place apply silver diamine fluoride in a dental office setting under the “direct supervision” or “indirect supervision” of a dentist, or through “telehealth supervision” for purposes of communication with the supervising dentist. |

Sets forth and clarifies that a hygienists, after completing a post secondary course or continue education may place/apply silver diamine fluoride in a dental office under the direct or indirect supervision of a dentist. |
