| Description of Subjects/Issues |
This rulemaking propose to make the solid waste financial assurance requirements a stand-alone section of the Colorado Solid Waste Regulations (6 CCR 1007-2) by moving the requirements from Section 1.8 to Section 4. Proposed revisions to the financial assurance regulations will also eliminate vulnerabilities in the existing regulations and help ensure that funds will be available to the Department when needed for closure and post-closure of, and corrective action at, solid wastes disposal sites and facilities should the owner and operator become financially insolvent. |
| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
