| Description of Subjects/Issues |
The purpose of these rules is to prescribe the statewide transportation planning process through which a long-range multimodal, comprehensive statewide transportation plan will be developed, integrated, updated, and amended in coordination with stakeholders. The rules are being updated to conform to recently passed federal legislation, update expired rules, clarify the membership and duties of the Statewide Transportation Advisory Committee pursuant to HB 16-1169 and HB 16-1018, and to make other minor corrections. |
| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The purpose of these rules governing the Statewide Transportation Planning Process and Transportation Planning Regions is to prescribe the statewide transportation planning process through which a long-range multimodal, comprehensive statewide transportation plan will be developed, integrated, updated, and amended by the Colorado Department of Transportation in coordination with stakeholders. These rules are being updated to conform to recently passed federal legislation, update expired rules, clarify the membership and duties of the Statewide Transportation Advisory Committee pursuant to HB 16-1169 and HB 16-1018, and to make other minor corrections. |
