Description of Subjects/Issues |
Pursuant to §42-8-104(1), CRS, the Chief of the Colorado State Patrol has authority to promulgate rules necessary to implement the enforcement of applicable statutes and regulations concerning commercial motor carriers, owners and operators through the operation of Port of Entry weigh stations on public highways within the state of Colorado.
Amendments are being proposed to 8 CCR 1507-28 to ensure compliance and consistency with state law and federal regulations. Specifically, these amendments clarify the process related to determination of Gross Vehicle Weight; clarify minor items related to Special Revocable Permit Program; and correct minor grammatical and formatting errors. |
Purpose/Objective of Rule |
