| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
Given the close proximity of the 2017 Coordinated Election, the Secretary of State must adopt temporary Rule 2.16.3 to provide clear guidance to county clerks regarding election systems security requirements. Please see the attached notice of temporary adoption, including a statement of basis and statement of justification. |
