The Purpose of this rulemaking is update definitions and clean up unnecessary and outdated language. Specific changes include: removing information pertaining to the flock certification program; updating import requirements; removing owner assist in handling and restraining; changing the notification timeline from 48 to 24 hours when reporting positive EIA test results; removing requirements on swine pseudorabies and brucellosis; and adding reportable disease requirements. |
