| Description of Subjects/Issues |
The purpose of the Rules Pertaining to Transport Permits for the Movement of Extra-Legal Vehicles or Loads is to enable the Department to issue permits for Vehicles and Loads exceeding Legal Limits. Section 42-4-510 (3), C.R.S. authorizes the Department to prescribe conditions of operation for the movement of Extra-Legal Loads. These rules are being updated to comply with the passage of the FAST Act, codified at 23 U.S.C. 127, and make other minor changes. |
