| Description of Subjects/Issues |
Statement of Basis and Purpose for Amendments. The 2016 amendments to these rules reflect statutory amendments in HB 15-1184, which defines charter school networks, and amendments in HB 16-1354 and HB 16-1422. As a result of the latter two bills, the Accounting and Reporting law identifies nine funds to be used by school districts in financial accounting and reporting and specifies conditions and requirements regarding the use of these funds. The funds are: General Fund, Bond Redemption Fund, Capital Reserve Fund, Special Building and Technology Fund, Risk Management Reserves, Transportation Fund, Full-day Kindergarten Fund, Supplemental Capital Construction, Technology, and Maintenance Fund, and Total Program Reserve Fund. |
