| Description of Subjects/Issues |
The proposed rules in legislative format (Attachment A to the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking) would amend the Rules Regulating Telecommunications Providers, Services, and Products contained in 4 CCR 723-2 implementing House Bills 14-1329, 14-1330, 14-1331, including amending the Title of the Rule. The proposed rules amend the current rules consistent with applicable federal rules and the current telecommunications nomenclature and remove outdated rules and subsections of rules. The proposed rules in legislative format (Attachment A) and clean format (Attachment B) are attached to the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking as supporting information. [Also attached is a table that summarizes the proposed rule changes (Attachment C). The summary is not a complete list or description of all of the proposed rules or of the reasons for each proposed rule. It is intended to provide a general discussion of the changes made to all sections of the rules and to provide a starting point for comments.
