| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The purpose of this rulemaking was to revise the Colorado SOlid Waste Regulations (6 CCR 1007-2) to delete and replace the existing Section 5.5 regulations (Management of Asbestos-Contaminated Soil) with new Section 5.5 Regulations (Management of Regulated Asbestos Contaminated Soil (RACS)); to add Appendix 5A (Sample Collection Protocols and Analytical Methodologies) and to make the necessary associated additions and revisions to the Section 1.2 Definitions. |

This hearing was originally noticed on August 15, 2013, and December 23, 2013 under tracking numbers 2013-00890 and 2013-01313. This is a continuation of those hearings based upon an updated version of the proposed rule.
