| Description of Subjects/Issues |
The purposes of this rulemaking are to move the existing rules from their current location at 8 CCR 1203-10 under the Plant Industry Division to a new location at 8 CCR 1206-3 under the Conservation Services Division and make amendments. Proposed amendments to the rules change definitions; correct the common and scientific names of species currently listed; amend procedures for certification; allow the Department to conduct necessary seminars instead of CSU; and correct typographical errors. |
| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The purposes of this rulemaking are to move the existing Weed Free Forage Crop Certification Act rules from their current location at 8 CCR 1203-10 under the Plant Industry Division to a new location at 8 CCR 1206-3 under the Conservation Services Division and make amendments to the rules. The Weed Free Forage Certification program was moved to the Conservation Services Division in 2012. Proposed amendments to the rules change definitions; correct the common and scientific names of species currently listed; amend procedures for certification; allow the Department of Agriculture to conduct necessary seminars instead of CSU; and correct typographical errors. |
