| Description of Subjects/Issues |
The proposed rules would adopt amendments to the federal safety standards for the transportation of natural gas and other gas by pipeline. |
| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
To update procedural efficiency; serve the public interest; and make the rules more effective and elegant. The amended rules should provide for clarity, necessity and conciseness and those rules found to be duplicative, inconsistent or unnecessarily burdensome should be repealed. |
