The Solid Waste Regulations (6 CCR 1007-2) are being amended to add Section 18 (Waste Grease Transporters, Facilities, and Personal Users of Waste Grease) and Section 1.7.5 (Waste Grease Annual Fees); and to Modify Sections 1.2 (Definitions), 1.5.2 (Waiver Processes and Procedures) and Section 1.7.3 (Annual Fees) |
| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The purpose of the Section 18 (Waste Grease) regulations is to implement the requirments of HB10-1125, which sets up a management scheme for waste grease (trap grease and yellow grease)to ensure that waste grease is accounted for and properly recycled or dispositioned. These regulations set out the requirements for registrants, waste grease transporters that manage waste grease in transit, and waste grease facilities that collect, handle, store or process waste grease. |
