| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The purpose of these amendments is to reflect recommendations from the National School Transportation Specifications and Procedures, Colorado State Patrol's Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, and other input from the School Transportation Unit and school districts/service provider transportation professionals. Pursuant to 22-32-113, C.R.S., the board of education of a school district is authorized but is not required to furnish student transportation home to school, school to school, school to home, and on school sponsored activities.
