| Description of Subjects/Issues |
Amendments to Standards for Hospitals and Health Facilities, Chapter VII, Assisted Living Residences. The proposed amendments consist primarily of changes to the licensing fee structure for assisted living residences (ALRs) in order to comply with new legislation that requires the Board of Health to establish a fee schedule that will adequately meet the Department?s costs for administering and enforcing the ALR licensing statute. |
| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
To implement HB 08-1038 that requires the State Board of Health to promulgate rules establishing a schedule of fees for assisted living residences (ALRs) sufficient to meet the Department's direct and indirect costs for administering and enforcing the ALR licensing statute. See attached statement of basis and purpose for details. |
