Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The statutory basis for this regulation is 24-4-103, 24-72.1-103, 42-1-204, 42-2-107, and 42-2-302 CRS.
The Department is responsible for the application process for obtaining Colorado driver's licenses and identification cards. The purpose of this regulation is to set forth guidelines for the type of documents that the Department will use as proof of the applicant's lawful presence in the United States, identity and age. |
