Description of Subjects/Issues |
Amendments to Standards for Hospitals and Health Facilities, Chapter VII, Assisted Living Residences. The proposed amendments require: 1) that there be one staff member who is first-aid certified on the premises at all times; 2) that the facility establish a procedure addressing when and how staff provide lift assistance to residents who have fallen; 3) that the facility inform each resident of his or her right to receive or refuse CPR; and 4) that the facility document and disclose to resident |
