| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The Department is responsible for the application process for obtaining Colorado driver liceneses and identification cards. The purpose of this regulation is to set forth in rule the process and type of documents that the Department will use as proof of the applicant's age, identity and lawful presence in the United States. These rules also set forth exception processing and an affidavit process to follow when the requried documents are not available, as well as a denial and hearing process. |
