| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
These rules are being promulgated to give more clarity in the regulation of hearings conducted by the Department of Revenue Hearings Division. These rules propose to guide the Hearing Officer in the course and conduct of the hearings and provide the public with information about the limits and scope of the Hearing Officer?s duties at hearing. Since these proposed rules include regulating the processes related to subpoena issuance and enforcement, the former Rules for Subpoena Issuance and Enforcement (1 CCR 204-19) are made obsolete by these rules and are, by this amendment, repealed. |

The text of paragraph 2.6.2.9 has non-substantive errors that we would like to correct. The sequential numbering in the text of the paragraph referring to requirements of the request for subpoena doesn?t make sense. |
