Description of Subjects/Issues |
The proposed amendments to Chapter V - Long Term Care Facilities, Chapter VII - Assisted Living Residences, and Chapter XXI - Hospice, allow a long term care facility or a hospice to return unused donated medications to a pharmacist instead of destroying them. In addition, an assisted living residence would be allowed to return such medications to a pharmacist instead of returning them to the resident or resident's representative upon discharge or death. |
