How do I sign up for a Secretary of State class?
Preregistration is required. To preregister, click on the "Register now" link on the schedule above for the specific class that you want to take.
Send a separate e-mail for each person who is registering for a class.
If you do not see a "Register Now" link, there are no classes available at this time, or all of the classes are full.
What if your training classes are full?
You can take classes from approved vendors if our classes are full. Return to the notary training page to see a list of vendors.
Is there a fee for your training classes?
No. Our notary training is free.

- Read the Notary Law (PDF).
- Print any handouts that you want to bring with you (we don't provide copies). Only one handout (see below) is required.
