Decision on petition for declaratory order
Denver, Colorado, June 5, 2014 - Deputy Secretary of State Suzanne Staiert today issued an agency decision in response to a petition for declaratory order regarding campaign finance. Citizens United submitted a petition for declaratory order (PDF) on April 18, 2014. Deputy Secretary Staiert held a public hearing on June 3, 2014 (audio) to take public comment on the petition. Written comments from the public, which have been posted online, were also considered.
