How do I schedule a games manager training class at my hall?

See the games manager class request.

How do I register for a games manager class?

Each class has different registration instructions.  See the "Registration" section of the games manager training schedule below for the specific class you will be attending.

Is there a fee?

Yes, there is an application fee for the Games Manager Certificate.  View the current fee schedule.

Fees can be paid by check or money order after attending the training class.  We do not accept cash or credit cards.

A signed Games Managers Certificate Application/Oath must be submitted with the fee.

Some instructors do not accept payment at the class.  If your instructor does not accept payment, the fee and a signed Games Manager Certificate Application/Oath should be mailed to:

Colorado Secretary of State
Bingo and Raffles Program
1700 Broadway, Suite 200
Denver, CO 80290

What should I bring to class?

Bring a pen/pencil and paper for taking notes and copies of the handouts and forms required for your class.  See the "Required Materials" section of the games manager training schedule below for the specific class that you will be attending.  Instructors do not have copies of the form, manuals or other handouts.

How long is the class?

The raffle-only portion of the class is presented first and takes approximately two (2) hours.

The entire class, including both bingo and raffle training, is approximately four (4) hours.

The class duration also depends on the number of people attending and how many questions there are.

Is there anything else that I should do to prepare for the class?

If you are new to bingo and pull tab games, become more familiar with gaming operations and terminology before attending a training class. You might try volunteering to assist in a game, or attending a bingo game as a customer.

Can I use notes or reference materials during the test?

Yes.  It is an "open book" test.

When will I find out if I passed the test?

If you passed the test, you will receive your certificate in the mail within 7 to 10 business days.

If you did not pass the test, you will be notified by mail within 7 to 10 business days.

Can I try again if I did not pass the test?  Do I have to pay another fee?

You can attend another training class and take the test again.

If you paid the fee on your first attempt, you do not have to pay again.

How long is my certificate valid?

Your certificate is valid for four (4) years.
