Subscribe/Unsubscribe for E-mail Notification Service

This free automatic e-mail notification service is designed to provide information about what is new at the Business Division of the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office and about changes to specific business organization records, including entities, trade names and trademarks.

E-mails regarding general information

This feature allows us to send you news from the Business Division such as new software releases, changes in procedures, changes in office hours, etc.
  
E-mails specific to a record in the Secretary of State’s Office

This service updates you about specific business organization records in the Secretary of State’s Office. If you are the registered agent for an entity or are interested in a specific entity, you can subscribe for e-mail notification about the record for that entity. Whenever certain events involving that entity occur, you will automatically receive an e-mail alerting you to check the record. For example, if a Statement of Dissolution is filed for that entity, if the entity fails to file its annual report, or if the entity files an amendment changing its entity name, you will receive an e-mail.

When subscribing to e-mail notification, please do not type a message in your subscription e-mail. This e-mail is strictly for registration and will not be read by Business Division staff. If you need to send an e-mail to the Business Division, please e-mail sos.business@sos.state.co.us and an employee of the Business Division will reply as soon as possible. Or, if you would like to speak to Business Division staff, call us at 303-894-2200 and press 2, and one of our phone representatives will be happy to assist you.

Subscription to our auto e-mail notification service is completely voluntary, and if you choose to use this service, your e-mail address will not be subject to an open records request or otherwise be disclosed by the Secretary of State’s Office.
