Free Email Notification Service

Subscribe to our ‘Auto E-mail Notification Service’! This service is designed to help us keep you better informed about what’s new at the Business Division of the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office and about changes to specific business organization records, including entities, trade names and trademarks, of the Secretary of State.

E-mails regarding general information

This feature allows us to e-mail you news from the Business Division such as new software releases, changes in procedures, changes in office hours, etc.

E-mails specific to a record in the Secretary of State’s Office

This service allows us to update you about specific business organization records in the Secretary of State’s Office. For example, if you are the registered agent for an entity or, for any other reason, are interested in a specific entity, you can subscribe for e-mail notification about the record for that entity. Whenever certain events involving that entity occur, you will automatically receive an e-mail immediately alerting you to check the record. For example, if a Statement of Dissolution is filed for that entity, if the entity fails to file its annual report and becomes noncompliant or delinquent, or if the entity files an amendment changing its entity name, you will receive an e-mail.

The Secretary of State’s Office will protect e-mail addresses from being distributed and used for commercial purposes. The Secretary of State will deny the right of inspection of e-mail addresses provided by a person to the Secretary of State’s Office for the purposes of future electronic communications to the person from the Secretary of State’s Office. To this end, subscription for our auto e-mail notification service is completely voluntary, and if you choose to use this service, your e-mail address will not be subject to an open records request or otherwise be disclosed by the Secretary of State’s Office.
