| Description of Subjects/Issues |
This rule repeal is proposed pursuant to the statutory authority in 24-33.5-1810, C.R.S. and is intended to be consistent with the requirements of the State Administrative Procedures Act, Section 24-4-101, et seq., C.R.S. The rules are being repealed due to transfer of the disbursement program agency oversight between divisions in the Colorado Department of Public Safety to the newly created Office of School Safety. These rules as adopted under the agency of the Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management are now duplicative and inaccurate regarding the procedures for the School Security Disbursement Program and would cause confusion for stakeholders and program disbursement applicants if not repealed, which would be contrary to the public peace, health, and safety of the state. For these purposes, it is imperatively necessary that the proposed rules be repealed. |
