| Description of Subjects/Issues |
In a 2021 rulemaking, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
(Department) established a Hemp Testing Laboratory Certification Program for laboratories performing regulatory compliance testing of hemp and hemp products. There are currently 12 hemp laboratories in the Hemp Testing Laboratory Certification Program. Laboratories have been certified in all testing categories, meeting industry needs.
At this time, the Department requests that the Board of Health set a rulemaking hearing to update and modify these rules regarding the certification of hemp testing laboratories. |
